B-24 Liberators "before" and "after" bombing mission against Japanese anti-aircraft battery northwest of Alexishafen
A Japanese 75mm anti-aircraft gun battery was emplaced on this penensula northwest of Alexishafen bordering Bostrom Bay and Sek Harbor (Alexishafen Harbor). Today, this peninsula is at the eastern edge of St. Fidelis Seminary (St. Fidelis College). The top of the photo is facing eastward.
