Location Bostrem Bay forms the western edge of Sek Harbor (Alexishafen Harbor) bordering the the north coast of New Guinea. Borders Alexishafen to the southeast with Admosin Island to the east. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Madang Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Wartime History During 1943, used by the Japanese to supply the Aleixshafen area. After the Australian Army occupied the area on April 26, 1944, used by Allied boats, with shore facilities on the peninsula of Alexishafen Catholic Mission. The anchorage off Alexishafen was suitable for vessels of 6,000 Tons. Allied units based at Alexishafen (Sek Harbor) (US Army) 3rd ESB, 593rd Boat & Shore Regiment, Company C attached to Australian 5th Division to support operations in the area between April 1944–May 1944 Contribute
