Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Angoram District, East Sepik Province (ESP) in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Prewar Built prewar as a single runway to support Angoram mission. Also known as Angoram Landing Ground (Angoram L/G). Wartime History During late December 1942, occupied by the Japanese Army. During the Japanese occupation of the area, it seems the runway was never used and became overgrown. Today Postwar, used as Angoram Airport. Airport codes: IATA: AGG.
