Location
Myola Airfield is located in a large, flat kunai grass area of "Big Myola" area near Myola. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Territory of Papua. Today located in Central Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). To the north is the border with Oro Province (Northern Province).

Wartime History
During the Kokoda Campaign, a portion of "Big Myola" was used as a drop zone for supplies to the Australian Army soldiers on the Kokoda Trail. Also used as a landing ground for aircraft.

Today
Disused as a landing ground since the Pacific War.
