| Location Lat 4° 31' 48S 153° 3' 16E Silur Airfield was located at an elevation of 217' above sea level near Silur Mission on the north coast of southeast New Ireland. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Konoagil Rural LLG in Namatanai District of New Ireland Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Construction Built postwar during the 1970s as a single runway for light aircraft. Today Silur Airport was used to support nearby Silur Mission. Airport code: IATA: SWR.
