Location
Dutch Harbor Seaplane Base is located at Unalaska on Unalaska Island bordering Dutch Harbor in Alaska in the United States.

Construction
Prewar, built by the U.S. Navy (USN) as a seaplane base, after the completion of Sitka Seaplane Base.

Wartime History
Dutch Harbor Seaplane Base was used by the US Navy (USN) flyingboats and seaplanes. On June 3, 1942 and June 4, 1942 Japanese carrier planes strike Dutch Harbor. On the ground, there was only minor damage to facilities at Dutch Harbor including 63 casualties including 35 killed.
