SUNDAY, 11 NOVEMBER 1945 USN: Crashed is JRB-4 Expeditor 44632 killing six aboard including Commodore Dixie Kiefer. USN: They were expendable: surviving U.S. Navy (UNS) Motor Torpedo Boats (PT Boats) were placed out of service, stripped of usable parts and scuttled at Samar in the Philippines including PT-108, PT-167, PT-168 and PT-174.
