Wartime History Built by Osaka Army Arsenal during 1942. Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as 105mm (10cm) Howitzer Type 91 (1931) serial number 1138. Wartime History This gun was assigned to the Kwantung Army and transported to Manchukuo (Manchuria. In early August 1945 during "Operation August Storm" captured by Soviet Army in Manchukuo (Manchuria). Afterwards, taken as a war prize to Mongolia. Display This gun is displayed outdoors the Sumber Museum (Khalkhin Gol Museum). The serial number 1138 is visible on the breech. It is periodically painted gray before anniversary events. Contribute
