Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as 14cm/50 3rd Year Type Naval Gun / 140mm Naval Gun Type III serial number unknown. Transported to Kangu Beach on southern Bougainville.

Wartime History
One of two guns, emplaced furthest to the east at Kangu Beach on southern Bougainville. To the west is 140mm Naval Gun Type III (No. 2).

Today
The gun still remains in situ today.
