Wartime History
Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as 25mm Anti-Aircraft Gun Type 96 (1936) in a triple mount configuration. This gun was transported to Rabaul and emplaced at Malmaluan.
Wreckage
This gun is displayed at Coastwatcher's Memorial Lookout (Coastwatcher's Memorial) near Malmaluan. The gun barrels are at a horizontal angle.
