Location Lat 21°18′56″N Long 158°0′26″W Ewa is Located along the southern coast (leeward) of Oahu in Hawaii in the United States. Pronounced "Eh-va". To the east is Honolulu and Pearl Harbor. Also known as Ewa Beach or Ewa District. Ewa Field Located to the west of Honolulu On October 1, 2010 Hawaii Undersea Research Lab (HURL) conducted a test and trial dive off Ewa with Pisces V and Pisces IV, exploring the wreckage of SBD Dauntless 2136. Steven Price adds: "Besides the two Dauntlesses, our test dives resulted in the discovery of 2 LST's, 2 LCT's, 2 very old torpedoes, other assorted ordnance, and 3 vehicles. One of the LST's is most likely the USS Chittenden County sunk in 1958 as a target by the USS Sargo SS-583. The other amphibious vessels may be from the West Loch Disaster."
