Lat 33° 36' 0N Long 130° 25' 0E  Port located in Fukuoka-ken bordering Hakata Bay.

Fukuoka Western Army Headquarters
Located at Fukuoka. On August 15, 1945 after Emperor Hirohito announced the surrender of Japan the remaining sixteen American prisoners detained at this location by the Kempei Tai were taken to a nearby field at Aburayama stripped naked and hacked to death with swords. Afterwards, their bodies were exhumed and cremated.

The sixteen Americans executed include:
1st Lt. Robert G. Neal, pilot B-25J 44-31300
1st Lt. Louis J. Winiechi, Jr., co-pilot B-25J 44-31300
1st Lt. Richard S. Lane, navigator B-25J 44-31300
SSgt Robert W. Goulet, engineer B-25J 44-31300
SSgt William Cohen, radio B-25J 44-31300
