Location Lat 35° 16' 60N Long 136° 55' 0E Komaki is located at an elevation of 62' / 18m above sea level in Aichi Prefecture in the Tōkai subregion of the Chūbu Region of central Honshū in Japan. To the south is Nagoya. Wartime History During World War II, the Takaki Factory part of the Nagoya Arsenal was located to the east of Komaki. During 1944, U.S. Strategic Bombing Survey (Pacific) Joint Target Group designated this location as Target 90.20-1691. Attacked by U.S. aircraft during 1945. American missions against Komaki January 3, 1945–July 20, 1945 Komaki Airfield (Kamake, Nagoya Air Base, Nagoya Airport) Located at Komaki still in use today includes Nagoya Airport Aerospace Museum (Aichi Museum of Flight).
