    Sagami Bay 相模湾 (Sagami Wan) Honshū Japan
Location
Sagami Bay borders the southern coast of Honshū in Japan. In Japanese known as 相模湾 Sagami Wan. Also known as Sagamu Gulf. Sagami Bay is formed by Miura Peninsula in Kanagawa Prefecture to the east and Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Province to the west. To the south is the Sagami Sea (Sagami Nada) and beyond Izu Ōshima Jima (O-Shima). The northern coastline from east to west borders Hayama, Ōiso, Kozu and Odawara. Further to the northeast is Toyko Bay and beyond roughly 25 miles away is Tokyo.
