Location
Shizuoka Prefecture 静岡県 (Shizuoka-ken) is located in the Chūbu Region in the center of southern Honshū in Japan. The Prefecture capital is Shizuoka City.

Mount Fuji
Mount Fuji is the tallest mountain in Japan with an elevation of 3,776.24m / 12,389' located on the border of Shizuoka Prefecture and Yamanashi Prefecture on Honshū in Japan. To the east is Gotemba. To the north is Fujiyoshida and to the southwest is Fujinomiya and to the south Fuji on Suruga Bay. In English, known as Mount Fuji. Also known as Fuji-san, Fujiyama or Mt. Fujiyama.

Suruga Bay 駿河湾 (Suruga Wan) spans from Omaezaki Point to Irōzaki Point on the Izu Peninsula.
