Lat 35° 8' 15N Long 138° 40' 42E  Samejima 鮫島 is located at an elevation of 36' / 10m above sea level on the southern coast in Shizuoka Prefecture in the Chūbu Region on Honshū in Japan. To the east is Fukude and to the north is Iwata.
