Location
Lat 15° 55' 60N  Long 120° 49' 0E  Barangay of Umingan, located in the southeastern corner of Pangasinan Province.

Wartime History
During late January 1945, the U.S. Army, 25th Infantry Division "Tropic Lighting", 27th Infantry Regiment cut Highway 8 near Pamienta. On January 29-30, 1945 the Japanese 'Omoro Detachment' was advancing in a column over Route 8 toward Monoz. Overnight, at 2000 both units were unaware of each other and collided and a firefight ensued. By the morning, the Americans had destroyed most of the Japanese column including 8 tanks, 8 prime movers, 4 tractors, 5 trucks and eight 105mm guns. Only four tanks managed to escape to Monoz.
