| Location The Sibuyan Sea is located between Luzon and the Visayas in the central Philippines. It is bounded by the Panay to the south, Mindoro to the west, Masbate to the east, and to the north Marinduque and the Bicol Peninsula of southeast Luzon. At the center are the Romblon Islands including Sibuyan Island. To the west is the Tablas Strait (Tabuas Strait) that connects to the Sulu Sea. To the northwest is the Isla Verde Passage that connects to the South China Sea. To the southeast is the Jintotolo Channel (Jintotolo Strait) that connects to the Visayan Sea.
