Location
Biliau Island is a small island located in Madang Harbor near Madang, located directly north of Madang Airfield (Madang Airport).

Wartime History
There are three large wrecked Japanese ships run aground on the island. Their bows are sticking out of the water, and their sterns are submerged in shallow water. A smaller landing barge is more to the west. It is possible these ships were sunk during an Allied air raid on May 8, 1943.
