Location Buna Village (Old Village) is located on the north coast of New Guinea. A mile to the east is Buna Station (Buna Mission). Prewar and during the Pacific War located in the Northern District of Territory of Papua. Today located in Oro Bay Rural LLG, Ijivitari District of Oro Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Today A small museum set up in the village displaying relics collected in the area. Displays include the wing of an aircraft (likely from one of the Betty wrecks) and a variety of smaller Army relics, including shells, mortar holders, bullets and so forth. In 2005, villagers want 5 Kina per photo and a 20 Kina entry fee, which is exorbitant. Contribute
