Location
Lat 4° 30' 0S Long 145° 25' 60E Meiwok is located on the north coast of New Guinea. Also spelled Mewok, Mawock, Mawock Plantation or Meivok. To the west is Ulingan Harbor. To the east is Sarar Harbor. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in Madang District in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Madang Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). To the west is the Tupira Surf Club.
