    Sirinumu Kairuku-Hiri District | Central Province Papua New Guinea (PNG)
Location
Sirinumu is an inland location in New Guinea. To the northwest is Sogeri and to the west is Port Moresby. Today located in the Kairuku-Hiri District of Central Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG).

Postwar
The Australian administration built Sirinumu Dam for a hydroelectric power plant to generate power for Port Moresby. Once completed, the Sirinumu Dam formed Sirinumu Reservoir (Sirinumu Lake). Today, administered by PNG Power for electricity and Eda Ranu for the water supply.
