Location
Lat 9° 25' 16S Long 147° 25' 16E Sogeri is located at an elevation of 1,669' / 508m in the foothills of the Owen Stanley Range in Central Province In Papua New Guinea (PNG). Connected by the Sogeri Road (Rouna Road, Snake Road) to Port Port Moresby to the west and Owers' Corner and the start of the Kokoda Trail. Nearby is Hombrom Bluff (Hombrom's Bluff), Varirata National Park and Rouna (Rouna Falls). Also known as "Sogeni".
