Location
Located south of Wewak Town, this is a larger hill, named "Tower Hill" due to the present day radio tower at the summit.

Japanese War Memorial
Japanese memorial on the road up to Tower Hill. The memorial has many panels in Japanese, and one in English reading: "For the friendship of Japan-Papua New Guinea we thank Mr. Pakara Captain of Koikin Varie, for offering his ground for the construction this statue. - Yutaka Okubo"
