Location
Zabaykalsky Krai is located in the Federal District of Far Eastern of Russia. Formed on March 1, 2008 by the merger of Chita Oblast and and Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug. Also spelled Zabaykalsky Kray or Zabaikal'skii krai. In Russian, spelled Забайкальский край. Borders Mongolia and China.
