    Choiseul Province  Solomon Islands
Location
Choiseul Province is located in the northwest Solomon Islands on the eastern side of "The Slot". Borders the Pacific Ocean to the east and New Georgia Sound to the west. Prewar and during the Pacific War part of the British Solomon Islands Protectorate (BSIP). After Solomon Island independence on July 7, 1978, Choiseul was part of Western Province. On February 25, 1992 Choiseul Province was established to include Choiseul Island (Lauru) and offshore islands. Today the administrative headquarters is located on Taro Island. Borders Western Province to the west and south. Borders Santa Isabel Province (Isabel Province) to the southeast.

Choiseul Bay  located at the northwestern tip of Choiseul Island.
Voza  located on the southern coast of Choiseul Island, site of U.S. Marine Corps diversionary landing.
Sangigai  located southeast of Voza on the southern coast of Choiseul Island, Japanese barge station.
Nokiki (Nukiki)  located to the southeast of Choiseul Bay on the northwest edge of Choisuel Island.
Moli (Moli Point)  located on the southern coast of Choiseul Island.
Boe (MBoe)  located on the southern coast of Choiseul Island.
Varunga Point  located on the northern coast of Choiseul Island.

Offshore Islands
Choiseul Island (Lauru)  largest island bordering the Pacific Ocean and New Georgia Sound.
Ziona Island  located offshore Voza on Choiseul Island.
Redman Island  located off Choiseul Bay.
Taro Island  located off Choiseul Bay Choiseul Bay Airport built postwar spans the length of the island.
Sipasai Island  located off Choiseul Bay
Guppy Island  located at the center of Choiseul Bay.
Saerama Island  one of three islands south of Cape Kamboro on the northeastern side of Choiseul.
Laena Island  located off the western tip of Choiseul Island
Saerema Island  located off the southeast of Choiseul Island
