Location
Hill 84 is a feature inland from Point Cruz near the north coast of Guadalcanal. Today located in Guadalcanal Province in Solomon Islands.
Wartime History
On September 27, 1942 U.S. Marines from the 7th Marines, 1st Battalion, Company A, Company B and Company D advanced to this location but were trapped by the Japanese and withdrew.
Today
Today the King Solomon Hotel is located atop this feature.
