    Tarik Island (Totiw) Chuuk State (Truk) Federated States of Micronesia
Location
Lat 7°20'31.2" Long 151°46'55.19"  Tarik Island is located in the Parem Municipality at the center of Truk Lagoon in Chuuk State (Truk) in the Federated States of Micronesia. Also known as Totiw, Fuyo, Fuyō-shima, Teetiw, Hibiscus, Tadiu, Dadum, Rose Mallow Island, Totiu, Teetiu, Tardieu, Tatu, Tarik, Toronmurui. To the north is Param Island (Parem), to the east is Fefan Island, to the southeast is Tsis Island and to the west is Tol Island.

Wartime History
Occupied by the Japanese for the duration of the Pacific War. At the northeast corner of the island was a single 75mm mountain gun emplaced in a cave manned by an Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) crew to provide supporting fire for gun positions on Param Island and Fefan Island.
