2nd Lt. Thomas D. Harmon wearing flight jacket
His leather jacket has a large patch with Walt Disney character, Peg Leg Pete, wearing Harmon's University of Michigan "Michigan Wolverines" football uniform with the number 98, smoking a cigar and holding a Tommy gun. On October 30, 1943 bailed out of P-38G Lightning 42-13415 south of Kiukiang in China and was rescued by Chinese Communist forces and later returned to duty.
