Queensland Air Museum (QAM)

The Queensland Air Museum (QAM) was established in 1973 and moved to Caloundra Airport on June 14, 1986. Today, the musuem's collection includes forty aircraft related to the aviation history of Queensland including two Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) PV-1 Ventura bombers plus a DC-3 used by General MacArthur during the Pacific War.

G4M1 Betty Propeller
Propeller blade from a Japanese Betty bomber recovered from a swamp near Kavieng in 1978. Now on display at the museum.
