In 1976, Jim Maloney and Steve Hinton formed Fighter Rebuilders to restore F4U Corsair 17799.

Located at The Air Museum (Planes of Fame). A warbird restoration facility specializing in restoring to fly and maintaining World War II warbirds, run by Steve Hinton. This facility is open to the public with admission to the museum.
