Ken’s Men Against The Empire Volume I covers the first half of the history of the 43rd Bombardment Group (43rd BG) nicknamed "Ken's Men" in the South West Pacific Area (SWPA) duing World War II. This book is written and researched by Lawrence J. Hickey with co-authors including Steve Birdsall, Madison Jonas, Edward Rogers and Osamu Tagaya. The book features hundreds of World War II photographs, maps and original artwork by aviation artist Jack Fellows.

The 1st edition was published March 2016 and is out of print. The 2nd edition was published February 2020 with updates and an expanded narrative. This book is an essential addition to your aviation library. Order online via International Historical Research Associates (IHRA).
