Kikuzuki starboard bow view in Purvis Bay (Tokio Bay) off Florida Island
The destroyer has 23 on the bow indicating assignment to Destroyer Division 23 (Desdiv 23). The foredeck deck has canvas covers covering the forward 12cm Type 3 gun (4.7" dual purpose gun) with only the barrel sticking out. Amidships is the bridge and smoke stacks with 12cm Type 3 gun turrets with barrels at the stern.
