Ship History Built by Ōsaka Zōsen in Osaka. Laid down April 28, 1944 as No. 103 Class Landing Ship. Launched May 25, 1944 as SB No. 125. Completed July 31, 1944 and assigned to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA). Next, transfered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as No. 108. Wartime History On October 13, 1944 while at sea north of Iwo Jima attacked by PB4Y-1 Liberator from VPB-102. Fate At the end of the Pacific War, surrendered to the United Kingdom at Singapore. Decommissioned May 3, 1947 and given to China. Ultimate fate unknown, likely broken up for scrap.
