PT-152 bow hit by a 120mm shell from a destroyer on October 25, 1944 during Battle of Surigao Strait
Hit by a 4.7-inch [120mm] shell tore away the 37mm. gun from the bow, fatally wounded the gunner, stunned the loader, and set fire to the boat.
