Wartime History During the Pacific War, this tank was transported to Pohnpei Island (Ponape). At the end of the Pacific War, abandoned outside Kolonia (Colonia) on what is today the on the Eischarts / Adams Property. Restoration During the late 1970s, this tank was recovered and exported to Japan where it was restored and returned in 1981 to Ponape Island. Display During 1981 placed on display near the Post Office in Kolonia on Ponape Island. Stan Gajda reports: "This tank has deteriorated over the years while in town".
