Wartime History This tank was one of two captured by the US Army 40th Division on Luzon in the Philippines. Afterwards, transported back to the United States as a war prize. Display Displayed in California. Later, donated to the General George Patton Museum of Cavalry & Armor (Tank Museum) where it was externally restored and is displayed today. The 37mm main gun was salvaged by Warren Slessenger from Ponape in 1968 and later donated to the museum for use as the main gun.
