Vehicle History Delivered to the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) as Type 98 Ro-Ke as a six ton prime mover. Shipped to New Guinea. Wartime History By late April 1944, this prime mover was abandoned near the North Coast Road near Mililat Plantaiton. On April 25, 1944 captured by the Australian Army 5th Division, 30th Battalion. By May 26, 1944 moved to the 5th Division camp area and photographed from several angles including front, side, rear and cab showing a rear tow cable and a broken windshield. Later, repaired by the 4th Armoured Brigade. Possibly, this is the Type 98 Ro-Ke displayed at The Beck Museum. Ultimate fate unknown. Contribute
