On March 3, 1943 arrives Karachi Airfield in India (Pakistan). Wartime History Assigned to the 10th Air Force (10th AF), 7th Bombardment Group (7th BG). Nicknamed "The Captain and the Kids" in reference to the The Captain and the Kids Sunday comic strips of the same name with nose art of the comic strip characters below the name, one holding an aerial bomb. Fate On March 31, 1943 this bomber was officially written off as Condemned Air Force Miscellaneous (CON AFMSC).
