Aircraft History
Built by Lockheed Aircraft Corporation (LAC) in Burbank. Constructors Number 1948. Unknown if assigned a U.S. Army Air Force (USAAF) serial number. Disassembled and shipped overseas to Australia as part of Defense Aid.

Wartime History
On June 20, 1940 delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) as Hudson Mark II serial number A16-94. On July 9, 1940 assigned to No. 1 Squadron at Laverton Field. Assigned fuselage code US-C and sent to Maylaya. On September 16, 1941 to 151 MU. On September 29, 1941 returned to No. 1 Squadron. This Hudson operated from Sembawang Airfield and Kota Bharu Airfield in Maylaya.

Mission History
On December 8, 1941 in the early morning took off from Kota Bharu Airfield piloted by F/Lt John G. L. Jones on a bombing mission against the Japanese landing force off Kota Bharu. Over the target, shot down and crashed into the sea roughly three to five miles off the coast. The entire crew remain listed as Missing In Action (MIA).

Memorials
The entire crew were officially declared dead the day of the mission. All are memorialized at Kranji War Cemetery on the Singapore Memorial. Jones and Siggins on column 411. Walters on column 412.
