Wartime History
Flown in defense of Manila. Captured largely intact on February 20, 1945 dispersed at Dewey Boulevard Airfield. That same day, J2M3 3008 was also captured. According to one intelligence report it bore tail code 81-124, of the 381st Kōkūtai. Some wartime reports mention its capture location as Nichols Field.
