Aircraft History Built by Yokosuka (Kugisho) at either Yokosuka or Kasumigaura and painted overall gray. On October 23, 1944 delivered to the Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN) as MXY7 Model 11 Ohka manufacture number unknown (four digits). Wartime History This Ohka was transported to Yontan Airfield on Okinawa for use against U.S. forces. On April 1, 1945 captured by American personnel at Yontan Airfield. Display Postwar, stored at the National Air & Space Museum storage facility in Park Ridge, IL. Stored outdoors, the wings rotted, and it was later sold to collector Earl Rinert. Later, aquired by Yanks Museum and displayed unrestored in their restoration hanger. By 2010, restored for static display and displayed on a wheeled dolly as MXY7 Model 11 Ohka 1084 nose I-10 with a Cherry blossom insignia on each side of the nose. It is unclear if this is the actual manufacture number and nose number, or simply restored to represent that Ohka. References Yanks Air Museum - Yokosuka Model 11 Ohka (photo) Contribute
