Aircraft History Built by Consolidated at San Diego. Delivered to the U.S. Navy (USN) as PBY-5 Catalina bureau number 2451. Assigned to Patrol Squadron Fourteen (VP-14). No known nickname or nose art. Mission History On December 7, 1941 this Catalina was parked in a hanger on Ford Island and was damaged and destroyed during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.
