Location
Harbin Airfield (No. 1) was one of three airfields located in the vicinity of Harbin, located to the east of La-la-t'un and Wang-chia-tien. Between 1932–1945 located in Manchuria (Empire of Manchukuo). Today located in Heilongjiang Province in the Inner Mongolia (Nei Mongol Autonomous Region (NMAR) of the People's Republic of China (PRC).

Wartime History
Prewar Manchukuoan / Japanese Army Air Force airfield. During the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan Incident this airfield used by JAAF aircraft May - September 1939.

JAAF Units based at Harbin (unknown if Harbin No. 1, No. 2 or No. 3)
11th Hiko Sentai (Ki-27) June 1932–June 1939 Saienjo returns Sep - Oct 39 Wuchang, China, returns Dec 1940 - November 1941 Kukan, Phu Quoc, returns August - Sept 1943 Laolian
24th Sentai (Ki-27) established September 1938–
12th Sentai (BR.20) mid June - late June/early July 1939
68th Sentai (Ki-43 / Ki-61) April 1942 -

At the end of the Pacific War, occupied by Soviet forces. Captured Japanese aircraft were used by the Communist postwar.
