Location
Located in western Manchuria, east of the border with Mongolia. Located 15 km southwest of Gandjur-Miao (Handjur-Miao). In Russian, known as "Uhtin" or "Uhtin-Obo".

Construction
Built by the Japanese during 1939 (?)

Wartime History
During the Battle of Khalkhin Gol / Nomonhan Incident this airfield used by JAAF aircraft May - September 1939. This airfield was near the frontlines.

On July 27 (?) 9 x I-16 covered by 10 x I-16 attacked Uhtin-Obo Airifled, diving down from 1,000m targeting parked aircraft and fuel tanks. The fighters then made two strafing attacks expending a total of 10,000 rounds and returned to base unharmed. They claimed 4-5 Ki-27 burned at the airfield.

Today
Disused since the war.
