Location Binmaley Airfield was located at Binmaley in the 2nd District of Pangasinan Province in the Ilocos Region (Region I) of northern Luzon in the Philippines. Also known as Binmaley Aerodrome or Binmaley Field. Construction After the January 9, 1945 U.S. Army landings on Lingayen Gulf, built as a forward airfield. Wartime History Binmaley Airfield was used as a forward airfield. American units based at Binmaley 71st Reconnaissance Group, Headquarters (HQ) Leyte arrives February 2, 1945–August 1, 1945 departs Ie Shima Tony Feredo adds: "I know the 71st Tac Recon Group was base at Binmaley and some P-51 squadrons.
