| Location Lat 14° 56' 0" N Long 120° 35' 0" E Lubao Airfield was located near Lubao in Pampanga Province in the Philippines. To the west is Floridablanca. Construction Built prewar by the U.S. Army. Wartime History Prewar, used by the U.S. Army Air Corps (USAAC) as a base for pursuit aircraft (fighter aircraft). During late December 1941 and early January 1942 American units withdrew. American units based at Lubao (Defense of the Philippes) 24th PG, 17th PS (P-40) December 25, 1941 departs Nichols 24th PG, 20th PS (P-40) December 25-31, 1941 departs Bataan 35th PG, 21st PS (P-40) January 4, 1942 departs Bataan In early 1942 occupied by the Japanese Army during their occupation of the Philippines until early 1945.
