Location Lat 20°50'0" Long 106°43'0" Located near Hai Phong (Haiphong, Hải Phòng) in the Red River Delta Region of northeast Vietnam. Municipality Also known as 'Hai Phong Airfield' or 'Hải Phòng Airfield'. Wartime History Used by the Japanese during the Pacific War. Japanese units based at Haiphong 84th Dokuritsu Hiko Chutai (Ki-27 Nate) January 27, 1942 American missions against Hai Phong (Haiphong) November 23, 1942–July 29, 1945 Postwar During the Indochina War used by the French Air Force (Armée de l'air) and French Naval Aviation (Aéronavale). During the Vietnam War used by the Vietnam People's Air Force (NVAF). Today Still in use today as a small civilian airport known as Cat Bi International Airport or Hai Phong Airport or Haiphong Catbi Airport.
