Location
Lat 7° 21' 21S Long 146° 39' 23E Edie Creek Airfield was located at an elevation of 6,709' / 2,044m at Edie Creekin the interior of New Guinea. Prewar and during the Pacific War located in Morobe District in the Territory of New Guinea. Today located in Morobe Province in Papua New Guinea (PNG). To the northeast is Wau and to the north is Bulolo.
Construction
Built prewar as a single grass surfaced runway to support gold mining operations in the Edie Creek area.
Today
Disused today.
