Location Lat 52° 44′06″N Long 173° 59′28″ The Semichi Island Group (Semichi Islands) is located in the Near Island Group (Near Islands) at the western end of the Aleutian Island Chain (Aleutian Islands) in Alaska in the United States. The Semichi Islands include: Alaid Island, Hammerhead Island, Lotus Island, Nizki Island and Shemya Island. To the southeast is Attu Island and northeast is Agattu Island. To the northwest is Near Island Group (Near Islands). Wartime American spelling: Semichis or the Semichi.
